Planning: Storyboard

The final step in planning is building a storyboard. This step is crucial to the film making process. This gives the directors a chance to organize the scenes in order, take by take. In boxes, each frame is mapped out. These boxes draw out each take by the angle, movement, setting, and other elements. My film totals to 65 boxes. These boxes draw out any movements, the actors and any props. I mentioned the lighting as well as the shot type. This storyboard will serve great purpose on filming day. The storyboard is the guideline for the film, therefore we will film accordingly. The settings are mapped out accordingly such as outside, bathroom, car, bedroom, etc. The storyboard is a sketch of how the film will look.
